More Wal-Mart

I posted a while back about the Wal-Mart from hell (scroll down if you don’t remember).

Last weekend I had to get things for work and I have no option really except Wal-Mart to get the things I needed unless I drove much further away and still for the items I needed Wal-Mart was the better deal. I have to think of budget matters for work so I have to keep things as inexpensive as possible.

Anyway………I refused to go back to THAT Wal-Mart so I went to a different one which is nicer and cleaner by the way.

I had intended to simply pay for the items myself and get reimbursed rather than having the check hassle again. As I was doing my shopping and the cart full of things kept growing I decided I’d just talk to the manager first about the check and see if it was going to be an issue.

I went to the customer service desk and the guy there looked intelligent so I showed him my tax exempt card and the check and asked if it was ok that I write out the check to pay for the purchases. He looked at me like *I* was an idiot and said of course you can. I then had to explain about the other incident so he knew why I had asked. He said oh that should never have happened, municipalities don’t print names on checks that would be stupid (his words)! I said, yes it would but this did happen to me. He told me it was fine, go ahead and write the check. He said they have people sign checks all the time that aren’t theirs such as area farmers who have others do their shopping and sign the checks, their names aren’t printed on the checks either but it’s not an issues.

How do you like that! Seeing that I know for a fact that each store’s employees get a bonus (yearly I think) based on their sales, seems the Wal-Mart from hell fucked themselves. I bought another $200 worth of items from a different Wal-Mart where they are more knowledgeable.



The camera return….revisited

Of course there had to be a fuck up with this return and there was…….they credited the camera back to the wrong credit card. I had split the purchase 50/50 between my debit card and my credit card and when I returned the camera I specifically said it’s on TWO DIFFERENT cards, do you need them so it will get credited back to each of them. Of course I was told NO.

Yeah……it all got put back on the debit card instead of 50/50.

I took the digital camera back to Wal-Mart today where I bought it. I dealt with a man who had no issue with me returning the camera and he even stated that it didn’t sound right to him that it was eating batteries that way. I then told him what the woman there had told me yesterday and he made a face and said he didn’t think that the brand of battery should make a difference. I got my money back with no hassle.

I was looking around the store with my husband and ran into the photo department manager and told her I had returned the camera and she then proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t going to matter what camera I bought, that if I didn’t use the Energizer rechargeable batteries I was going to have the same problem. I then reminded her that the DURACEL batteries that came with the camera also went dead very quickly. She then tells me that it didn’t matter because the batteries they include with those camera aren’t meant to last long, they’re just so you can turn the camera on. OH MY GOD……….what a load of shit!

I decided to buy a new digital camera at Wal-Mart. Since I got it I have gone through battery after battery. I bought a new set of rechargeable batteries and literally take 4 pictures and they’re dead. Even the brand new set of batteries that came with the camera died in a short time.

I finally decided enough is enough and called the store to say I think the camera has a problem. What I really wanted to know is how long I have to return it because I’m done dealing with it. The woman at the photo lab then proceeded to tell me that the reason I’m having battery issues is because I didn’t buy Energizer rechargeable batteries and Poloroid recommends Energizer. She then tells me to bring the camera in and they would try their Energizer batteries and see what it did.

YEAH RIGHT, I’ll get right on that (NOT). At this point, I am so disgusted with this camera that I am going to demand my money back period. They can try a dozen batteries in it for all I care, but I’m done dealing with it! To try to convince me it’s the “brand” of batteries I’m using that’s the problem is just ludicrous. Ford recommends Motorcraft oil too but that doesn’t mean if you don’t use Motorcraft that your oil breaks down in 300 miles instead of 3000. Once again, they are assuming that I am stupid.

I can just imagine the conversation that will take place tomorrow when I take the camera back but I do know what thing………Bitch is giving me my fucking money!

Can you guess that if I start to talk about a lazy ass stupid employee it must be WAL-MART! My god, I really need to STOP GOING THERE!!!!!

I went to look at digital cameras as I have to replace mine (more about that later) and after an hour of looking at and fiddling with all the digital cameras, I decided on one. Since it was late at night, the actual photo department was closed so I started searching for the electronics dude whom I had just seen help someone else at the photo counter. I finally found him and told him there was a digital camera (in the locked case) that I wanted. He said, “Can’t you just wait until tomorrow when someone is there?” I said NO–all I need you to do it get it out of the locked case, I know which one I want then I said if you don’t want to, I’ll just break the glass and get it myself. He stood there a second looking stupid and then said he guessed he’s have to go back up front and get the keys. GUESS SO FAT LAZY ASSHOLE.

And of course, wouldn’t you know it–they didn’t have the one I wanted in the color I wanted anyway and then fat lazy asshole stands there trying to tell me which one to buy not 2 seconds after he just got done saying he doesn’t know a thing about them!

If it’s true that people rise to the level of their incompetence, this guy is THERE.

On July 21, I posted this post.

Why is that Wal-Mart (employees) assume that their customers are fucking stupid?! Better yet, why are Wal-Mart employees (not all) fucking stupid themselves?!

I went to ye old Wal-Mart today (THEY SUCK) and found displayed a number of keyboards and mice. I checked them out and found a wireless keyboard and mouse combo that I wanted. Problem was, I couldn’t find it on the shelf so I found the pizza face geek that was working and pointed out what I wanted and asked if they had any or were out of stock. He pointed to the shelf and said those are being replaced with these. I looked at the box and said to him that the “replacement” wasn’t even the same brand and said are you going to be getting any more of those (the one on display). He said no, they won’t be getting those back in because they are being replaced with what’s on the shelf in the box.

Ok, several points to make here………
1. TAKE THE FUCKER OFF DISPLAY, YOU DON’T STOCK IT!
2. PUT ON DISPLAY WHAT YOU *DO* HAVE!
3. DO NOT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE SO STUPID THEY’RE NOT GOING TO NOTICE THESE ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!

NOW GET THIS

I was back at that same Wal-Mart today, October 4, and they STILL HAVE THIS SAME THING ON DISPLAY!!!!

What the fuck?!

As if there needed to be more reasons other than THEY JUST DO, I can add yet another reason.

These days when you go to Wal-Mart and write a check they have you sign a different piece of paper and they immediately give your check back. They also have immediately snagged the money from your checking account too. To save hassle, you can use your debit card so I have started doing that because the end result is the same. They immediately take the money.

What I refuse to do however is to use my debit card as a debit card underneath all their camers where anybody can see you entering your pin number. NOT HAPPENING. So I use it as a credit card.

Today I returned an item and instead of giving me cash back they returned the money to my card. PISS ME OFF! She didn’t ASK if they could do this, she just automatically did it. I was pissed and still am and still will be for weeks to come. Here’s the thing………THEY IMMEDIATELY TAKE YOUR MONEY when you pay but now I’m expected to WAIT for them to return my money?! What a bunch of bullshit. I told the stupid bitch that if I do not have my money back TOMORROW they will be having a very unpleasant visit and they will.

What bullshit! If they can immediately take my money then I immediately want my fucking money BACK when I return something.

Funny how I should expect that huh.

Today I had to go to my most unfavorite favorite store Wal-Mart and believe it or not, November 14 and those morons are playing Christmas music! I think they must really be hurting if they’re trying to push Christmas sales already. As their popularity continues to wain their desperate acts will continue.
