It never fails

In order to try to alleviate my hatred of the living room set up I have now, I need to move my computer. to do this, I need extension cables for the monitor and keyboard so I ordered them on Ebay.

I tried to chose a good seller carefully and wanted someone close so they would get here SOON.

AND GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

On November 26, I ordered my cables from a seller that is less than 300 miles away figuring it should only take 3 days to get here at the most. I guess (KNOW) I’m just more anal than most people……..when I sell on ebay, I ship through paypal so it marks items as shipped automatically and notifies the buyer that it’s been done. I also go back and check that the listing shows as shipped so the person knows that the item is on it’s way. Seeing that this wasn’t done for my purchase, I sent a message on Friday (the 30th) asking if it was sent. I got a message saying yes, it was sent on the 27th priority mail and should be there “today or tomorrow”. Yeah, I think that too but nothing arrived. Monday’s mail came and went–nothing arrived. I sent another message to the seller saying that my order had not shown up and got a response saying he’d have to “dig out” the delivery confirmation and see what it say. I want to know how buried the delivery confirmation can be after 6 days but never mind that. I didn’t hear back from him anyway. Last night (Wednesday December 5) I sent a message to him again that said nothing at all but a sad face. Shortly after I got an email from him saying he was resending the cables and would mark the package as #2 (shit?!) and if the first one showed up to refuse it. He said that the first shipment wasn’t showing anything on the USPS site because his outgoing packages don’t get scanned at the post office because they’re too busy. HELLO–it’s their job but never mind that too I guess. I sent an email thanking him for resending them.

I suspect that they were never sent in the first place and that he either just got them himself so he is finally sending them or he’s just a drop shipper who does nothing more than list the items and they are sent by someone else probably on a SLOW boat from China. I realize that a week doesn’t seem long but seeing that it should have been a 2 day deal, I’m pissed.

I am miserable (I’ve said this) with my computer set up and until he gets his slow ass around and gets me those cable, I can’t even try to do anything about it.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

While being bored and searching for bargains I decided to look on ebay for sheets and bedding thinking I could find a deal.

What I found was something that is just disgusting–USED SHEETS. Who would want to buy used sheets? I mean YUCK! Sure you can launder them but still……….

Another thing that strikes me about this is the whole flap ebay had not long ago about not selling used lingerie (Britney’s show bra) yet they do allow the sale of used bedding? That’s just not right!

YUCK YUCK YUCK

Lying Sellers!

My Christmas present to my sister has been doomed from the start!

Every year I get my sister something surrounding the hummingbird theme. Sometimes it’s the main gift and other times it’s a small token gift. This year I sort of forgot about that and I found THE gift for my sister at Yankee candle and I ordered it. Upon arrival it was broken and so I called to get a replacement. NOT–sold out :( So I go to plan B because I realized I had forgotten the hummingbird gift. I ordered this hummingbird thing off ebay and when I got it it was hideous so I opted for plan C which was to replace the broken candle gift by again buying on ebay. Today the gift arrived (a candle) and despite the ad saying NEW NEVER BURNED I find that the candle has in fact been lit and burned for a little while. I won’t say it’s even partially gone, it’s not, but it’s been burned and I can’t give that as a gift either! Now I don’t know what to do! I have no hummingbird goody and I have no yankee goody either!

Lying ebay sellers suck! This same woman tried to charge me $3.99 insurance for a $15.00 purchase and when that didn’t fly I swear she burned this fucker on purpose just to ruin my day!

Yes, it is a goddamn conspiracy!

ebay sellers who don’t follow through

I buy on ebay and I also sell on ebay.  Maybe I’m just anal or puckering too much on this one but it really aggravates me when you buy something and the seller doesn’t notify you when they send your item.

Ebay makes it pretty simple.  You just go to the item and click the link for mark this item shipped or simpler yet, if you use paypal to pay for shipping then it marks it automatically.

When I buy something, I want it NOW or at least within a few days and I want to know that it’s on the way.  Is that too much to ask?
