So the latest loudest flap in the news is all about the priests who molested children. Sure I understand this is a big bad thing but I think there’s a worse big bad thing going on.

I do not understand why the catholic church ever started paying people who claimed to have been molested. I guess I “sort of” do–because they knew it was happening; however, the issue I have is how they can go back some 30 years (or more) and decide that the priests are guilty just because one or more people says it’s true.

Where is the legal system in all of this? Even when the legal system is involved, they have convicted priests on crimes supposedly committed long LONG after it happened.

Don’t get me wrong, I have no doubt that the molestation is true and by no means am I standing up for the catholic church (HELLO I’m an atheist!!) but I think that in the general scheme of things, it sets a really bad precedent to convict someone of any crime after the statute of limitations is up and without evidence any more than just a statement saying they did it.

They really need to fix this before it gets worse. At this rate, anyone could claim they were sexually abused by a priest and be paid off.

SHIT! Maybe I’m thinking about this the wrong way. My husband is catholic, maybe he needs to claim he was molested too and get on the money band wagon–I’m sure lots of others will.

If it’s broke, it should be fixed!!

Isn’t this a fucking load.

Last fall, the neighbors took it upon themselves to use my property as if it was their own and left a giant ass trailer blocking MY access to MY property.

I have been pissed off about this since NOVEMBER and have called more than once to say MOVE IT.

Today, they were back on my land at the trailer and my husband went back to tell them MOVE IT–today. One of the guys back there had the colossal fucking gall to tell my husband he was being a dickhead for telling them to move it. That son of a bitch is goddamn lucky I wasn’t back there or he’d still be eating his fucking balls with a comment like that!

Who the fuck do people think they are?!

That fucking trailer will move TODAY whether they do it, or I have it done. Period!

Three weeks ago I bought a new mattress and low profile box spring. They had to order it so I didn’t really think too much about the box spring or its construction until we got it home but I knew the second we took the box spring out of the truck that there was no way in hell it was going to hold me up.

They may call them a box spring but the fact is there is no metal or spring to it whatsoever. All it was was a 1×1 frame with a single 1×1 runner in the middle and 1/8 inch pressed sawdust to put the mattress on and the whole thing was covered with matching fabric.

Needless to say, it broke in 2 days.

We had put my old mattress and real box spring outside to go to the dumpster in spring and it had already gotten snowed on but we dragged it back inside and let it dry out and after 2 days put it on the bed frame.

Needless to say that was not working worth a shit for a couple reasons. One thing is that the old box spring with the new mattress made my bed too tall and another reason is that it made the bed hard has a rock and my back went out immediately.

I have been miserable with my back since this whole debacle started.

At this point, I have abandoned the old box spring and returned the new one to the store and gotten some money back for it. The store was nice and offered to get me a new one but I said no, just give me a refund.

I have bought and am using a new type of bed frame that eliminates the need for any type of box spring or foundation.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t helped my back one bit. Every day is a struggle to move until after I spend an hour with an ice pack on my back.

I guess this is all the revenge of bed for having to hold my fat ass up.

Ever have someone say something that is just so fucking asinine that it makes you instantly livid?

The other night my husband was talking about work and he made said the most ridiculous thing……he was talking about working on Saturdays (which happens a lot) and commented that the one woman didn’t want to work Saturdays and then he said he could understand that.

SAY WHAT?! I was instantly pissed off and let him know it. I said since when do YOU understand that?! You haven’t cared all these years that I want to spend time with you when you’ve worked over 80 days straight including Sundays!!! He said well it’s different for the husband I guess.

I GUESS SO.
