Stupid Neighbor!

If I’ve not ever mentioned this, when we moved last year we moved next to a trailer court. We knew that a fence would be necessary just to block their view of us not to mention all the other problems we’ve had. Earlier this year, we started on the fence–a board fence–6 foot high (not high enough if you ask me). The very day we started, one of the scum from the scum court was outside just bitching to his wife how that isn’t right, that’s not the line and on and on–we couldn’t hear him that well but knew he was bitching about the fence. Little does he know, last year we talked to the owners of the trailer court and told them of our intention to put up a fence which they thought was a good idea considering their renters and we discussed where the line was. They said that they hadn’t gotten a survey when they bought the trailer court and we didn’t get one either but there are steel posts marking our property that make the lines pretty obvious. They were happy with the steel posts being the line and said to go ahead and fence away.

Apparently the in the trailer closest to our property is the caretaker of the trailer court as he does all the mowing of the open ground they have. About a month ago or so, when we were mowing and had very little fence up, I asked my husband (over the roar of 2 riding lawn mowers) where I should mow to or where the line was……he told me and then I saw the neighbor guy outside and he started hollering and pointing–presumably telling me where HE wanted me to mow. I couldn’t hear him but his gestures were pretty obvious. Ever since the fence started going up, this guy has mowed way over on our side and put his deck down and grubbed the ground on our side. The minute we go outside to work on the fence, he’s outside. When we mow our back 40 where our boat is parked, this guy walks out there to see where we mowed. It seems he’s rather obsessed with our mowing and fencing. It’s really comical. Last weekend, he mowed the trailer court on Saturday and we didn’t mow until Sunday yet as soon as we started mowing here he was out with the rider mowing over what he’d just mowed the day before just so he could watch us. There are 2 large trees on the lot line which are actually more on their side than ours and when he mowed around them, he went around each tree about 6 times while glaring at us.

I think he needs to get a life. I am really surprised that my husband hasn’t gone over and told him to mind his own business but he hasn’t–YET.
