I don’t think I’ve mentioned that my dog (who drives me nuts) has been very sick for a month now. Well, she had one good week since June 30 actually.

She’s been running high fevers, not eating or drinking, etc. etc. Although the dog drives me bonkers, it was my decision to have her and when you take on the responsibility of a pet, you take what comes. The reality is that the dog needs to go to a specialist, the local vets are admittedly stumped on what could be causing this problem. The problem is that this particular problem is getting to be expensive and with the house purchase, insurance, and the bit of remodeling that absolutely must be done before we can live in the house it’s a horrible time for all of this to be happening.

I never realized until now what people who don’t have insurance have to go through with themselves or their children when they know they need medical care and they can’t afford it and have to go without.

Seeing that my pets are the only kind of children I am going to have, I want to give them the best care I can. I have never had a situation like this before where I am stuck in deciding on the best thing for my dog and being restricted by finances. I know that she needs to go to the specialist but I have a husband who is having a fit already about how much the dog has cost because of all her medical issues.

I’m beginning to think I should kick out the husband and keep the dog! Part of the problem is that he never wanted this dog to begin with and he did say when we got her as a puppy that he didn’t want her because she was going to be a problem. Well, he was right but she’s our problem now and we should do the absolute best we can for her. My concern at this point is that we are going to have spent a lot of money on substandard care and end up with her dying anyway. It’s sure not looking good for her health at this point and it could end up that after having spent $600 she may have cancer and we could lose her anyway. The frustration and helplessness I feel at not being able to take her to the specialist coupled with my nervousness over the too much too far house is about to drive me to disappear………..my luck they’d find me and drag me home like a lost puppy too!

This article is about a 50 year old woman here in Wisconsin who seemingly “disappeared”. They launched a massive search for her as a missing person stating that she wouldn’t just disappear of her own accord. With each news story I read about this I kept thinking what if this woman just decided she’d had enough of her life and husband and decided to pick up and leave just because she wanted to. Turns out that is exactly what she did!

When the article came out that she had been found safely, it said that she was being returned to her family as though she was a lost puppy. This isn’t right! I can see that the family be contacted and told she is safe and sound but beyond that I do not think that law enforcement had the right to “return her to her family”!

As an adult, don’t you have the right to go where you want to go and when you want to? This woman had a right to leave if she wanted to! I grant you that it is awful to leave her husband and family in the lurch; however, she has the right to make her own decisions and she clearly made the decision to leave and (as the article says) she made the choice to turn off her cell phone so she couldn’t be contacted!

What right do these people have to force her to go back home? NONE!

Here we go again!

I had the displeasure of being behind this stupid asshole in this giant diesel guzzling pick up truck today. As if it isn’t bad enough that he appeared to be about 90, he couldn’t even see over the fucking dash of the truck! To top that off, the stupid asshole was leaned over in his truck talking on the goddamn phone while trying unsuccessfully to drive. The stupid fucker stopped at not 1 but 2 GREEN lights when I was behind him and made me have a nice long wait because of it at the second light! Needless to say, we both ended up waiting because the light turned red thanks to dick fuck sitting there when it was green! Then, about 3 blocks up the road the asshole just STOPPED in front of me and after he was stopped he decided to turn on his signal!

Stupid old fucking asshole shouldn’t even have a license let alone a one ton battering ram truck that he can’t see over the dash to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With only days left until we close our house it feels like a big weight is descending on me. I know that it will be a great thing to get out of this house and out of this town especially.

I guess I’m just scared and nervous. Especially nervous.

Did you ever not know you were having a bad day until you had one?

I was having a regular day until I went to fucking Wal-Mart and had to deal with their bull shit and now I’m having a worse day having dealt with the stupid oil company and their shit!

Maybe these fuckers need to learn to think outside the box because I’m not going to think the way they do for the sake of conformity. What a load!

As if there needed to be more reasons other than THEY JUST DO, I can add yet another reason.

These days when you go to Wal-Mart and write a check they have you sign a different piece of paper and they immediately give your check back. They also have immediately snagged the money from your checking account too. To save hassle, you can use your debit card so I have started doing that because the end result is the same. They immediately take the money.

What I refuse to do however is to use my debit card as a debit card underneath all their camers where anybody can see you entering your pin number. NOT HAPPENING. So I use it as a credit card.

Today I returned an item and instead of giving me cash back they returned the money to my card. PISS ME OFF! She didn’t ASK if they could do this, she just automatically did it. I was pissed and still am and still will be for weeks to come. Here’s the thing………THEY IMMEDIATELY TAKE YOUR MONEY when you pay but now I’m expected to WAIT for them to return my money?! What a bunch of bullshit. I told the stupid bitch that if I do not have my money back TOMORROW they will be having a very unpleasant visit and they will.

What bullshit! If they can immediately take my money then I immediately want my fucking money BACK when I return something.

Funny how I should expect that huh.

Or is it that I already do?

In trying to get things lined up for the new house, I called about fuel oil delivery for the winter. I stated specifically that I DO NOT WANT CREDIT……..I will pay you when or before you deliver the fuel oil to me.

I was told that they still require a credit application, it’s company policy. I said what are you going to do with it, I don’t want credit. She said they’re still required to run your credit. I said so in other words you’re going to snoop in my credit for no reason. I got dead silence and then it’s company policy.

WHAT THE FUCK?!

I don’t get it. I don’t want credit, how hard is that to understand. I want to pay you cash when or before you bring me the product. Why the fuck do you need to check my credit?!

I tell you what——–it’s not fucking happening!

I’ll bet each and every one of us has heard this during our childhood at least a hundred times. Don’t play with your food!

Why is it that there seems to be a new trend where other people now play with your food (or drink) before you ever get it?

I watch the food network a lot and it seems to be an increasing trend on there to show programs featuring “flair”. They toss pizza crusts all over the room before making the pizza, they throw your drink glasses around the room before (and after) filling them with your drink, and don’t even get me started on the whole sushi thing! I don’t get it. If I wanted my food played with, I’d just do it myself! I think this flair thing must be the modern version of “dinner and a show”. I always thoughy that dinner and a show was when you went somewhere to eat and then went somewhere else to watch a movie or a play.

Guess not huh.

I have to say that I HATE peas. They are just little green menaces and that’s it! They are waiting to sneak up on me at any given time in any number of foods. Tonight I was eating a simple pot pie and though I thought I had thoroughly picked through it for all of the nasty green menaces in it………..NO………..I get to bite into one of those gross little goobers. It was stalking me the whole time, I know it! Why do I think peas are so bad? For one thing, I can’t stand the little squish when you bite into them let alone the taste. YUCK. Top that off with having worked (tho be it briefly) in a cannery during PEA SEASON and you have a combined hatred of the green menace.

Peas were created by the devil!

Why is that Wal-Mart (employees) assume that their customers are fucking stupid?! Better yet, why are Wal-Mart employees (not all) fucking stupid themselves?!

I went to ye old Wal-Mart today (THEY SUCK) and found displayed a number of keyboards and mice. I checked them out and found a wireless keyboard and mouse combo that I wanted. Problem was, I couldn’t find it on the shelf so I found the pizza face geek that was working and pointed out what I wanted and asked if they had any or were out of stock. He pointed to the shelf and said those are being replaced with these. I looked at the box and said to him that the “replacement” wasn’t even the same brand and said are you going to be getting any more of those (the one on display). He said no, they won’t be getting those back in because they are being replaced with what’s on the shelf in the box.

Ok, several points to make here………
1. TAKE THE FUCKER OFF DISPLAY, YOU DON’T STOCK IT!
2. PUT ON DISPLAY WHAT YOU *DO* HAVE!
3. DO NOT TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY ARE SO STUPID THEY’RE NOT GOING TO NOTICE THESE ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCTS!!!!!!!!!!
